APPLICATIONS
Solar pumping system serves to provide water in remote applications where electrical grid power is either unreliable or unavailable. BLDC solar pump controller can direct use the DC power from PV array, and drive the brushless DC pumps. In sunny days, the pumping system can continuously pump water. There is no need of batteries or other energy storage devices. It's recommended to pump water to a reservoir for storage.

A float switch can be installed in the water tower to control the pump operation. And install a low-level probe in well to detect the well water so that pump will stop when there is no water. Below diagram shows a typical diagram of the solar pumping system, including major parts and components.

FAQ-Common pump faults and troubleshooting methods
1. The reasons for severe pump vibration are unbalanced electric rotor or poor coupling connection, worn and bent bearings, loose and broken parts of some parts, weak pipe supports, etc. Adjustment, repair, reinforcement, straightening, replacement, etc. can be taken individually.

2. Pipe leakage or leakage may be caused by the nut not being tightened during installation. If the leak is not serious, apply cement, wet mud, or soft soap to the leak or leaking area. If water leaks from the joint, you can tighten the nut by hand. If the leakage is serious, it must be disassembled.

3. Poor air pumping is mostly caused by the packing being pressed too tightly, cooling water entering the packing or shaft surface damage. Measures such as loosening the packing and cleaning the closed tubes can be taken appropriately. The packing must be replaced with new one. It must be soaked in oil and installed in a circle before installation. Cuts should be staggered to reduce leakage. After the last ring of packing is installed, the gland should be installed and the tightness should be adjusted during operation.

4. The reason why the water pump does not absorb water or drain water is mostly because the bottom valve is stuck, the filtered water is blocked, the water suction height is too high, or water leaks. It may also be caused by improper steering and clogged impeller flow passages. After checking one by one, measures such as repairing the bottom valve, removing dirt, correcting the steering, and cleaning the impeller can be taken respectively.
